Forensics Program

Involvement with the legal system is often a frustrating, expensive and complicated process. The Forensic Drug Rehab Track of the New Start at CARE Program has been designed to help our staff meet the special needs of clients who are involved with the court system. Whether you've been court-ordered to drug rehabilitation or you are attending on your own free will, we can help you make it through the legal system and provide expert level witness testimony in drug related cases.

The program can assist in the following areas:

• Pre Court evaluation by counselors who have been certified by the American College of Addiction Examiners and Forensic Counselors. These counselors are expert witnesses and their testimony as expert witnesses is accepted at most local and all Federal courts. Reports are sent to the client's Attorney, Probation Officer and the Court as requested by the client.
  
  
• Clients in this track will participate in both random and regular weekly urine screens, which are reported at the client's request to probation.
  
  
• Special instructional groups on understanding DUI and other drug related offenses are provided in this program.
  
  
• This track will often meet the DUI required offender group and counseling requirement placed by the court.
  
  
• Reports will be provided to the Attorneys and/or Probation and/or the Court System as required.
  
  
• Counseling and participation in this program may be provided both while in residence at CARE and/or as an outpatient as required by the Court
