Often the most distressing aspect of rehab is the initial detoxification from the substances you have been taking. This is a critical time and success in a drug detox center will impact successful integration into treatment.  In order to make this process as comfortable as possible, upon arrival at C.A.R.E. our clients meet with a physician, who will take a medical history and give a physical examination.  When necessary, a drug detox protocol is begun and carried out under medical supervision.  Every effort is taken to make this phase of treatment as comfortable as possible.

C.A.R.E. has a 12-step program as well as a relapse prevention program designed specifically for those enrolled in our Chemical Dependency Program. These two programs can at times be very appropriate in assisting with addiction recovery. Education for Chemical Dependency is also offered at C.A.R.E.. This program is very beneficial in helping residents learn more about their specific addiction, as well as in encouraging them to take their motivation for recovery to the next level.
