At C.A.R.E. we recognize that our alumni are an intrical part of our continued success. We maintain contact with our alumni family after discharge and offer ways to keep connected. We are here for you!!
Could your story inspire someone else to get treatment?
C.A.R.E. has created a charitable arm to help subsidize addiction treatment for people who cannot afford it. Help an Addict is a not-for-profit organization that is able to direct all of its funds toward treatment related fees.
We are often approached by alumni who seek to "do something" to thank the C.A.R.E. staff for their support. In response we have initiated The Alumni Fund. You are part of the C.A.R.E. extended family now. Any amount makes a difference. To make a donation visit: helpanaddict.org
Give back to C.A.R.E. by helping someone else in need!
Remember that C.A.R.E. has relapse prevention programs designed specifically for our graduates.

C.A.R.E. holds intensive family days once a month. This program is an intense weekend with a schedule of both therapeutic and educational activities designed specifically for those with family members who have had, or who are presently in treatment.
Topics generally discussed are:
Dealing with the terrorist in your family: Participants will learn to effectively communicate and set boundaries to avoid being manipulated, lied to and otherwise controlled by the addict in the family. Special attention will be paid to determining the difference between enabling and love. After treatment: What next? This group will help participants understand the supportive role of the family when the patient completes treatment. It will emphasize the division of responsibility when recovery is the property of the addict, while behavior remains a family issue. Dealing with disaster: What to do in the event of relapse and/or crisis Family support: What about me? This workshop reflects on the stress placed on the patient's family, offering information about various counseling and support group options.
- Both points of view: an interactive discussion between family members and patients currently in treatment.
- Tales of success, and other inspirational stories: round table discussion by people who have recovered.
- Therapeutic family session: group therapy for the family.
